What do the mmHg numbers mean?

mmHg (millimeters of mercury) measures how much pressure the sock applies to your leg. Higher number = stronger compression. Choose based on your need, not personal preference β€” the wrong level can be ineffective or uncomfortable.

MILD 8-15 mmHg Travel, tired legs, everyday wear
MODERATE 15-20 mmHg Mild swelling, varicose veins, athletes
FIRM 20-30 mmHg DVT prevention, post-surgery, edema
EXTRA FIRM 30-40 mmHg Prescribed only β€” doctor supervision required
What is graduated compression and why does it matter?

Graduated compression means the pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases up the leg. This is the clinically recommended design β€” it mimics the natural pumping action of your veins and actively pushes blood upward toward the heart.

Non-graduated (uniform) socks provide less therapeutic benefit. When shopping, look for "graduated compression" on the label to make sure you're getting effective support.

How to wear
Which length should I choose?
KNEE-HIGH
  • Most popular choice
  • Covers the calf muscle
  • Great for daily support & travel
THIGH-HIGH
  • Extended upper leg coverage
  • For circulation above the knee
  • Often prescribed post-surgery
PANTYHOSE / LEGGINGS
  • Full leg + waist support
  • Ideal for pregnancy
  • All-day wear coverage
FOOTLESS
  • Better breathability
  • Allows toe inspection
  • Wear with open-toe shoes
How do I measure myself correctly?

Measure in the morning, before swelling sets in β€” this ensures the most accurate fit. You'll need ankle circumference, calf circumference, and leg length. For thigh-highs, also measure thigh circumference.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for your first pair β€” it's more forgiving and easier to put on. If a sock feels impossible to pull on, the issue is usually compression level, not size.

Who benefits most from compression socks?

If you spend long hours on your feet or sitting without moving, compression socks actively help prevent blood pooling and leg fatigue throughout the day.

How do I care for compression socks?

Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water. Air dry flat β€” tumble drying breaks down the elastic fibers and reduces compression over time. Avoid petroleum-based creams or lotions on your legs before putting them on, as these degrade the fabric.

Replace every 3–6 months with daily wear. Once the elastic starts to feel loose, the compression level is no longer effective.

Item was exactly what I've used before and been satisfied with. I had unable to get it for months from my previous supplier. The package came in only a few days after my order.

Like These Sleeves

Based on my calf measurement, I purchased a large and they fit beautifully and are very comfortable. The only surpirse was the color, beige. I expected a light tan, but instead got a deeper color, so it looks more like a nylon stocking color. I was planning to wear them with summer pants, and probably still will, but I wouldn't call this color beige.

Mojo Compression Socksβ„’ Calf Compression Running Sleeves - Medium Support (15-20mmHg) Beige

I really liked the tan color of these sleeves as they looked less orthopedic than the beige pictured. They are a perfect fit, support and comfort.

mojo compression sock

Great quality product. Washes very well and does not loose shape. My only suggestion is that they make a "petite" length. I am 5'1 and it is a bit too long from ankle to under my knee. It bunches a bit on one side causing a little extra pressure but not too bad. I bought to wear after a calf tear injury and it really helps.

Mojo knee sleeve/brace

So far it beats the competition that is too loose or not as well knit! Mojo products fit better!

Reduced swelling

This sleeve has been great. The compression helps reduce my swelling. I re-adjust it once or twice a day because of the motion.

Kneed compression sleeve

I still haven't found a sleeve that won't fall down. I tried these to walk a golf course. They didn't make it to the first hole without falling below my knees. I wanted to send them back but have been too lazy to call them. Haven't worn them since. Too bad, their full leg sleeve stays up okay. Could be it has a better silicone upper band.

Fabulous and comfortable

I decided to try these instead of the sock type of compression stockings. I love them because they don't cramp my feet. I'm going to buy another pair.

Great product

This is a wonderful product, it does what it says and washes up nice. The only issue is I am short and so the stocking is a little long. I will measure from the ankle to the knee and order a couple more pairs. I am not sure if this was an option on the website but I should be. Thank you.

Love these too!

I had varicose vein surgery on both legs in 2012 and the surgeon recommended wear compression socks. always. since I am very physically active I often wear athletic clothing. I have many pairs of running compression socks and sleeves and they are great but I don't always want to look "sporty". I was very happy to find these sleeves and they are much less noticeable than the colourful athletic sleeves in my drawer. I also have an assortment of compression knee-high toeless stockings, which are widely available in a variety of compression levels, and thus different degrees of sheer. My request to make these a perfect 5-star product would be to offer this style in a more sheer pantyhose fabric, and various shades too, as these look very "medical grade" . I think a sheer compression sleeve would be fabulous and I would knock down your door to buy a pair - or two!

Smart Buy

I bought one pair for my mother who had swelling in her ankles. These worked great to relieve the swelling and were easy for her to take on and off. I thought I would also try a pair even though I have no swelling. I just thought these might help my circulation, especially on days when I am more sedentary. I hardly remembered I had them on and felt I was doing something good for myself. Highly recommend.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

I hated the compression stockings I wore that covered my feet as I felt my toes were being strangled! These stockings have helped ENORMOUSLY in that regard. The fit is accurate and I actually don't even feel like I'm wearing anything on my legs. They have greatly reduced the swelling from my venous insufficiency. I would advise anyone needing leg support to give these a try.
